Broadcasting since 1959, KPFK 90.7 FM is non-commercial, listener-sponsored radio station broadcasting from North Hollywood, California and serving the Greater Los Angeles Area. Their mission is to provide programming that serves the cultural welfare of the community as it streams an eclectic yet educational broadcast schedule including world music, talk radio, and public affairs programs 24 hours a day. Heard from the California/Mexico border to Santa Barbara to Ridgecrest/China Lake it is one of the most powerful FM stations in the western Unites States.
